Actor Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali Barua, who recently tied the knot, are enjoying a dreamy vacation in Bali. The newlyweds shared a picture on social media and gave a glimpse of the picturesque view. In the new selfie, the couple was seen smiling and they shared in the caption, “Lit in the glory of togetherness.” The couple was recently holidaying in Singapore.

Fans on the internet loved the picture. One of the fans wrote, “Beautiful couple.” Another said, “Welcome to Indonesia sir.” Rupali and Ashish tied the knot in May. The 57-year-old actor had opened up about the negative reactions and comments. In an interview with India Today, he said, “I read words like ‘buddha-khoosat (old)’ and many more derogatory words. What is interesting is that it is a comment (being a buddha) that each one of us, whoever is saying that, we are passing on others who are older than us.”

He added, “And at the same time, we are giving that fear to ourselves, because each one of us, hopefully, will become old. We are telling ourselves, ‘Hey, listen, don’t do things just because you’re old.’ So, does that mean you’re supposed to die unhappy? If somebody wants companionship, why should he not?”

The actor was earlier married to Piloo Vidyarthi, daughter of renowned actor Shakuntala Barua. They have a son named Arth Vidyarthi.

Talking about his separation from Piloo, Ashish said in an Instagram video, “22 years ago Piloo and I met and we got married. Well, it was an amazing one. We had Arth who is now 22, he is working. But somehow for the last few years, Piloo and I discovered that after this beautiful inning that we played together, we felt how we saw the future was slightly different from one another. So we decided, If we can’t walk together amicably, let’s walk separately but remain amicable and we parted ways with grace.”
