Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli recently made a public appearance together. The couple attended Indian Sports Honours 2023 in Mumbai on Thursday.
A video of Anushka and Virat posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet of the event surfaced on social media. For the event, while Virat decided to get all suited up, Anushka opted for a purple off-shoulder dress. Anushka also shared pictures of herself with Virat as they got ready for the event.
The video of the couple from the event was shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account. It had Anushka laughing as she and Virat got instructions from photographers to pose left, right and centre. The fans of the couple were happy to see them together. One of them commented on the video, “Omg.. Anushka look fabulous… ❤️..” Another added, “Anushka!! How pretty she is looking😍” A comment also read, “Anushka and Virat best Jodi❤️🔥.” One of the users wrote, “Yehh!!! Finally got their pictures ❤️😍.”
One of the Instagram users also commented, “Virat abhi bhi darr ke khada hai (Virat is still scared),” referring to an interview of the cricketer where he spoke about being ‘really nervous’ during his first meeting with Anushka.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently spoke about their first meeting during a conversation with AB de Villiers. Virat shared that when he learnt that he was going to shoot with Anushka for an ad, he “started shivering” because she was one of the “top actors” in India at the time. He said she was a “proper actor” and this made him more “nervous”.
On the work front, Anushka will be back on screens with the sports drama, Chakda Xpress. She plays legendary cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the film, which is directed by Prosit Roy and will be released on Netflix.
