Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been married for a few years now but the internet loves to have an opinion on their relationship. Not just their fans, but anyone who follows their activities on social media likes to decode their seemingly innocent actions and their opinions on each other are dissected in detail. After interpreting some of these thoughts, a section of the internet declared Ranbir as a ‘red flag’ even though they have no knowledge of his relationship with his wife. Alia, in her way, has been trying to defend her husband ever since this conversation began a few years ago.

Recently, when a fan account dedicated to Ranbir declared him as a ‘green flag’, Alia endorsed the post by liking it. The post read, “Funny how Jealous people always call him red flag, womaniser, mumma’s boy etc. but Ranbir Kapoor literally included his wife and daughter’s initials in his brand’s name. If this is red flag, then I guess it’s better than every so called green flag on the internet.” Ranbir’s brand called ARKS includes the initials of his wife Alia and daughter Raha. The brand was launched earlier this month, and the first store of the brand opened in Mumbai.

Ranbir and Alia have been together since 2018 when they met for Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra. They dated for many years and got married in 2022. In the same year, the welcome their daughter Raha Kapoor. In an earlier chat with Nikhil Kamath on his podcast, Ranbir shared that their romance started when they flying to Tel Aviv to work on Brahmastra. Soon after they started dating, they moved in together.

Calling her his best friend, he said, “I’m so lucky I married somebody who I’m extremely close to as a friend. She’s my best friend, and I got really lucky with that. She’s very colourful as a person, she’s 11 years younger to me. It’s funny, the first time I met Alia was when she was nine years old, and I was 20. We did a photo-shoot together for a movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to make, called Balika Vadhu. That’s the first time I met her.”
