Abhishek Bachchan recently attended an award event where the actor had a fun banter with the event’s host. The actor was asked about his acclaimed performances in his past few films, while replying to which the actor humorously touched upon his experiences in marriage.
During the award show, Abhishek Bachchan was asked how he manages to consistently deliver stellar performances. Replying to this, the actor credited the trusting guidance of his directors. He said, “It’s very simple. It’s got nothing to do with us. We just do what the director tells us to do. Chup chap kaam karke ghar aajate hai (We quietly work and return home).”

The host playfully compared this to following wife’s instructions. The actor agreed to the host and said, “Yes. All married men have to do that… do as your wife says.”
Lately, during the promotions of his film, I want to Talk., Abhishek Bachchan often talked about his wife and daughter at several interviews.
In one such interview with The Hindu, Abhishek Bachchan thanked his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for always being available for their daughter Aaradhya. He said, “In my household, I’m lucky I get to go out and make movies but I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya and I thank her immensely for that but I don’t think the kids look at it that way. They don’t look at you as a third person, they look at you as the first person.”
The actor was recently seen celebrating his daughter Aaradhya’s birthday. While he seemed to have missed his daughter’s birthday due to busy schedule, a video shared by the event management company showed the actor being present at Aaradhya’s birthday. In the video shared by the event management team, Abhishek can be seen thanking the team for making his daughter’s birthday special.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot in 2007. In 2011, they welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
