Aayush Sharma recalls first meeting with Salman Khan, said he wanted to marry Arpita Khan: ‘Told him I don’t do anything for a living’

Aayush Sharma, who was last seen in 2021’s Antim with Salman Khan, recently shared that the first time he met Salman Khan was late at night at Arpita Khan’s house. Aayush recalled that he and Salman’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma were dating at the time and she had invited him up after a party to watch some TV. Until then, Salman didn’t even know that the two were dating.

Aayush shared with Brut India that he introduced himself to Salman and the actor “innocently” replied “I’m Salman Khan.” Soon after they exchanged pleasantries, Aayush left as he left the situation was starting to get a bit awkward. But, next day, Salman called him up and asked him to meet. Aayush recalled that Salman had done his research and the first thing he told Aayush was “You’re a good boy.” When Salman asked his future plan, Aayush said “I would like to marry her.” He then paused to tell that by that time, he had not even proposed to Arpita. Since Aayush was only 24 at the time, Salman asked him “Aren’t you a child yourself?”

Aayush said that he wanted to be completely honest with Salman and told him that he did nothing for a living at that point. “I don’t do anything for a living. Whatever it is, it is my family’s.” After hearing him out, Salman said, “You’re an honest guy” and asked him to meet Salim Khan the next day.

Aayush then showed a corner of his house with a painting by Salman Khan and said that he gifted it to them. “This part is a Muslim prayer Ayatul Kursi. And these are the different poses of a namaz. I requested him I said I want something that spreads a lot of energy. So he decided to do this for us. He gifted this to us,” he shared.

Aayush was supposed to be a part of Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was previously titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. It was reported that Aayush had started shooting for the film but left midway due to “creative differences.”
