Lucknow: Teenage daughter of railway officer shoots mother, brother dead, say police

The wife and son of a senior railway officer were shot dead by the officer’s teenage daughter at their Lucknow home on Saturday, police said.

Police said they have detained the daughter who has confessed to killing her mother and elder brother.

While the motive is not yet known, police said that the officer’s daughter, who studies in Class X and is a trained shooter, is suffering from depression.
