Rs 6,200 stolen; motorbike recovered

In an incident of theft,a purse containing an i-card,a medical slip and cash of Rs 6,200 was stolen from a woman from a lift at the Government Hospital,Sector 16,Chandigarh. The case has been registered at the Sector 17 police station.

In an incident of theft,a purse containing an i-card,a medical slip and cash of Rs 6,200 was stolen from a woman from a lift at the Government Hospital,Sector 16,Chandigarh. The case has been registered at the Sector 17 police station.

Meanwhile,a stolen TVS motor cycle without number plates was recovered from a man near the cremation ground at Sector 25.

The man,named Navneet Singh,has been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Chandigarh Police and a case registered in the Sector 11 police station.
