Congress leader Manish Tewari won the Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency by a slim margin of just 2504 votes against the BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon on Tuesday.
The lead in Chandigarh fluctuated over 15 rounds of counting on the day of the Lok Sabha election results 2024. After 15 rounds, Tewari got 2,16,657 votes, while Tandon got 2,14,153 votes.

The BJP had won from Chandigarh in the last two Lok Sabha elections but did not field the two-time sitting MP Kirron Kher this time.
As per the seat-sharing deal, the Congress and AAP contested the polls in Chandigarh together, and the seat was given to the Congress while the AAP supported it.
