Amazon India is hosting the 'Mega Mobile Sale' with a slew of discounts on several smartphones including Nexus 6P, Moto G3 and Moto G Turbo. The sale starts today and will end on March 31. The e-commerce giant is offering up to 29 per cent discounts on Intex Crystal 2.5D and 9 per cent on Moto smartphones. Additionally users will get 10 percent cashback for every purchase made with Citibank debit and credit cards. We take a look at the best deals on smartphones on Amazon.
Nexus 6P (32 GB) gets a discount of 13 per cent (Rs 5,000) bringing down the original price of the smartphone from Rs 39,999 to Rs 34,999. In our review of Nexus 6P, we noted that the smartphone offers the entire premium experience, and unlike other premium devices, does not cost a bomb. Moto G3 (16 GB) in both white and black colour variant is now available at Rs 9,999. The smartphone was originally priced at Rs 10,999 and gets a Rs 1000 (9 per cent) discount. In our review, we noted that the smartphone caters well to the needs of most smartphone users who are looking to get a decent deal in the price range of between Rs 10,000 and Rs 13,000. Moto G Turbo also gets Rs 1,000 off and is thus priced Rs 11,499. It was launched at Rs 12,499. The USP of Moto G (3rd Gen) is that the smartphone is water-resistant and is immersible up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition is the dust-and water resistant version of the Moto G3 with a better processor, faster charging speed, and a higher price. Read more here
Coolpad Note 3 is also available at a discount of 11 per cent on Amazon India. The smartphone, which was priced at Rs 9,499 earlier is now retailing at Rs 8,499. In our review, we noted the Coolpad Note 3 should definitely be on your priority list. It is one of the least talked about smartphone, however, it is totally worth every penny you spend. The Huawei Honor 4X is a 4G phablet with a big battery life and an affordable price. The smartphone gets a discount of Rs 1,000 and can be now bought for Rs 9,499. If the camera matters more to you than other features in a smartphone, and you are specifically looking for a 4G phablet, then the Honor 4X is a good handset. However, the lack of Gorilla Glass is disappointing, so you will need to invest in a good screen protector. But overall, the Honor 4X isn’t a bad package. Read more here
Intex Cloud Crystal 2.5D gets the maximum discount of Rs 6,699 (29 per cent) and is down from Rs 9,490 to Rs 6,699. The smartphones features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. It is powered by 1GHz quad-core, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16 GB ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). The Intex Cloud Crystal 2.5D sport an eight megapixel rear camera and a five megapixel front camera.
