
India played their first warm-up of the ICC World T20 against West Indies on Thursday at the Eden Gardens. India went in with 14 players while their opponents decided to use only 11. Batting first, India posted 185/5 with Rohit Sharma scoring a brilliant 98 not out. (Source: PTI)

Yuvraj Singh was the next to come to the crease and he had a difficult time negotiating the bowlers early on. Yuvraj then started playing his shots more fluently and managed to get a hang of things in the middle.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was as fluent as he can be. At Eden Gardens, probably his favourite ground where he has numerous records to his name, he scored another fifty, this time in a T20I. (Source: PTI)

West Indies began their chase on a brisk note. Chris Gayle and Johnson Charles made 36 runs off 20 balls.
Jasprit Bumrah was introduced only in the fourth over but when he was, Chris Gayle was walking back to the pavillion. Like always, Bumrah had struck in his first over.
