The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan province, China, has issued a warning after an 8-year-old girl fell into a panda enclosure on Saturday. The video of the incident, which went viral on social media, showed a group of Pandas approaching the little girl as she accidentally fell over the fence.
According to a China Daily report, the warning by the non-profit research facility is to inform people that, Pandas are not as “meek” and “docile” as they seem to be. In the 47-second-clip, the girl can be spotted struggling to get out from a dry ditch in the animal’s enclosure. While a panda approaches a girl, people on the other side try to take her out.

According to the news website, Liu Guihua, a guide, climbed over the fence and tried to get hold of the girl with a bamboo pole. When he failed in getting the girl out, he abandoned the pole and lowered himself in the enclosure to get the girl out. She was united with her parents and later sent to the hospital for examination.
