The idea of almost 500 canines left together, without the supervision of their hoomans, does not exactly sound exactly like a plan and for all you know, might even turn out to be the kind of stuff nightmares are made of. However when something similar happened in Adelaide, Australia, the result was anything but chaotic. A staggering number of 576 border collies, a dog breed, came together to be a part of a fundraiser for animal charities and in the process, managed to create a world record. According to a report in ABC News, the event, was organised by the Border Collie Owners of South Australia group on September 24. Though the record is unofficial, the gathering is believed to have broken the previous record where 503 border collies had assembled in an event organised in 2013.
