Virat Kohli has amused his fans online as he shook a leg with the Norwegian dance group Quick Style. As the dance troupe arrived in Mumbai, they had enriching moments with the 34-year-old former Indian men’s national cricket team captain.
In the clip shared on Instagram, one of the dance group members is seen picking up a cricket bat and confused over what to do with it. The former India skipper arrives at the scene and shows him how to use it. Other members join them and they groove delightfully. Clad in a white t-shirt and black jeans, Kohli dances to Stereo Nation’s Ishq.
“When Virat and Quick Style ” read the caption of the clip. Since being shared on Tuesday, the clip has amassed over 21.4 million views on the Meta-owned platform.
The clip won the praise of several iconic sportspersons and celebrities like Harbhajan Singh and Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma. German football player Thomas Muller wrote, “Nice move.” Singh, Rajya Sabha MP and retired Indian player, commented, “Superb.” Anushka responded with fire emojis.
In the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad, Kohli broke his three-year Test century jinx, scoring 186, and received appreciation on social media. His last Century in the format was against Bangladesh in Kolkata in November 2019.
