Shahid Kapoor has been all out promoting his upcoming film, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya”, releasing on February 9. The actor, during one of his interviews, schooled a college student—who introduced himself as an aspiring actor and sought advice from the actor on the same.
In the now-viral clip shared on Reddit, the said student interacted with both Kapoor and Kriti Sanon and asked if there was any code that needs to be cracked to be successful in showbiz. He also asked them to share a tip as he aspires to be an actor. Responding to the question, Kapoor started by appreciating his voice and said, “Badi sexy voice hai teri yaar. Love it.”
He cross-questioned the college student and asked why he wanted to be an actor. “I think you are in a phase where you are discovering something that you are infatuated by or that you really really enjoy. You love that but are you good enough for that? You have to work very hard to answer that question. Because it is very easy to see and say I am better than this,” the actor responded.
Kapoor went on to share his experience while shooting “Jersey” and explained how he thought he would ace as a cricketer, however, it took sometime for him to adapt the skill sets. “Learn to work very very hard. Be respectful towards others’ work. The energy you put out in the universe if you are highly critical comes back to you. If you are forgiving and kind then the universe gives that back to you. So be forgiving, be kind, and work very hard on yourself,” Kapoor concluded.
