Dog spills through train platform viral video: A distressing video that has gone viral shows a man struggling to board a moving Rajdhani Express train with his Golden Retriever pet dog at Jhansi railway station. The terrified dog resists his human’s attempt to drag him inside the train. The animal loses its footing, and slips under the moving train.
The video begins with the man on the platform catching hold of the steel bar outside the door of one of the air-conditioned coaches of the train, trying his best to pull his pet dog, signalling it to enter the coach. The dog, instead of running and boarding the train, resists, making the man pull it by the leash. At one point, the leash comes off the dog and it loses balance, falling onto the track through the space between the coach and the platform.
People on the platform are seen approaching the edge of the platform to see if the dog has survived. Manoj Kumar Singh, PRO Jhansi Division exclusively told indianexpress.com that the dog has survived the incident and is safe with its family. Singh said that the family was traveling in the 1AC coupe of the train, and that man had de-boarded at the Jhansi station with the dog. The accident happened when the man panicked seeing the train moving from the platform and tried to board the train with the dog. Singh also said that someone managed to stop the train in time and that saved the dog. According to him, the relieved family then re-boarded and continued their journey with the dog.
The video posted on April 1 on X has, by now, garnered over 3.2 million views and a lot of comments.
