Dairy brand Amul, which is known for its creative and witty ads on a variety of topics, has now joined the “just looking like a wow” trend that has been sweeping the internet.

The dairy brand featured its iconic Amul Girl wearing an apron and cooking inside a kitchen in the ad posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday.

The tagline read, “Just cooking like a Wow!” “#Amul Topical – The latest meme to trend the internet…” Amul also wrote as the caption.

The tagline of this Amul ad is inspired by the insanely viral trend that was started by Jasmeen Kaur. Kaur, who has a boutique in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, used the phrase to describe her latest ensembles. “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow!” she had said to describe her ensembles during an Instagram live.

Kaur’s phrase has captured the attention of netizens and even celebrities jumped on this trend.

From Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to Karan Johar, Sanya Malhotra, and Bengali film actor and TMC MP Nusrat Jahan, everyone has been using Kaur’s catchphrase.

“Amazing, you guys are do creative love you, you are the Best,” a user commented on the Amul ad.

Recently, Amul had featured Indian-origin New Zealand cricketer Rachin Ravindra in a post on Instagram.

The Amul topical took a sports turn as it depicted the caricature of Ravindra in his New Zealand team jersey with the tagline “Rachin for the Stars”. The post also read “What a breadsman” — a word-play on Ravindra’s position as a batsman in his team.
