Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki has made his fondness for Indian culture, cinema, and cuisine known. On Sunday, popular Japanese YouTuber Mayo San shared a video in which she documented her Delhi excursion with Suzuki and his wife Eiko Suzuki.
In the video, Mayo first records how Suzuki tried to ace the hook step of Kaavaalaa, a dance number from Rajinikanth’s latest release Jailer. They then head to Sarojini Nagar and try aloo chat.
While wandering in the market, they also play a guessing game trying to figure out the price of an item, and the one whose guess is the closest wins. Suzuki also buys a red kurta for himself.
They end their day by trying the quintessential street momos from the market.
The eight-minute video of this Delhi excursion has gathered over 46,000 likes on YouTube.
Commenting on it, a YouTube user wrote, “Mayo ji, have a very wonderful Sunday. Hope you’re fine. It was nice to see a Japanese man performing a dance to a Tamil song. You perform Indian bollywood songs and you have learned Indian Odissi dance. Thank you so much from depth of my heart to you for loving our India. Looking forward to see your next video. Always stay safe, healthy and happy. Please take good care of yourself. ”.
