A passenger onboard an Indigo flight was left standing for a long time after the seat offered to him did not actually have a seat! The incident, which occurred during a flight that was already delayed by 90 minutes, has sparked outrage among travellers.
The incident unfolded when X user @Full_Meals, a passenger on the flight, took to social media to express astonishment and frustration. According to the tweet, the flight was already running behind schedule when the passengers were asked to board.
The delay, coupled with the unusual seating situation, added to the frustration of those on board.
Indigo Airlines, known for its commitment to timely departures, replied back stating, “Hi, we deeply regret to note this. We request you to kindly share your PNR via DM so we may look into this further. ~Team IndiGo.”
Indigo Airlines has built a reputation for its efficient operations and on-time departures. This incident, however, highlights the challenges that airlines can face, even those with a strong track record.
