A month after a Delhi Metro commuter came under fire for allowing his child to urinate on the tracks, a new video has emerged, showing a man urinating inside a metro coach. The disturbing video has reignited concerns over poor civic sense and hygiene in public spaces in India.
Shared by X handle @tanmoyofc, the viral video shows the man squatting and relieving himself at the junction between two coaches, as stunned passengers look on. The video also has a funny audio, which has a mention of the Bollywood rapper, Yo Yo Honey Singh.
indianexpress.com has reached out to the Delhi Metro Railway Corporation, and their response is awaited.

The video quickly went viral, amassing nearly two lakh views. Many netizens expressed outrage, citing a growing disregard for basic public decency. A section of users defened the man, assuming a medical history.
“They think that’s the birthright of their, cleanliness and basic civic sense are an eternal enemy of them,” a user wrote. “This kind of people is so dangerous for society,” another user commented.
“He might or might not have a kidney issue which can create extreme urge. In my personal experience, I have seen people from rural backgrounds behaving better in urban public spaces than shehris,” a third user reacted. “Why aren’t people throwing him out of the train?” a fourth user said.
Back in August, a similar incident came to light where a video showed a man letting his young son urinate near the platform edge at Inderlok Metro Station, just moments before a train’s arrival.
The video showed the father standing by as the child urinates on the tracks. A bystander, who is also filming, can be heard criticising the scene, “They have no shame. They are making their son urinate in a public space… At the Inderlok metro station.”
