A lot of people were eagerly waiting to watch the first day, first show of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan that has been making waves worldwide. However, cinemagoers in the UK were left bewildered after watching the film because the cinema played the second half of the film first.

Sahar Rashid, a makeup artist originally from Karachi and living in London according to her Instagram profile, shared the video a few days ago. She said she was excited to watch a Shah Rukh film in the cinema on the first day, first show but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. Rashid said they realised at the interval that they played the second half of the film first since the villain died.

She said Vue Cinema has trolled them and showed a long queue of cinemagoers who were asking for refund. Rashid said this is something that has happened with her for the first time in life. In a text insert in the video, she wrote how the cinema refunded their tickets and even gave them complimentary ones.

The first half was actually the best… even if they refund uff they ruined the whole experience!!!” another person said.

Directed by Atlee and also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt, the film has achieved the distinction of being the fastest Bollywood movie to reach the Rs 500 crore mark at the global box office.
