Applying for a job is never an easy task and a job seeker’s resume plays a crucial role in this process. Many of us have gone through the regime of filling multiple application and tweaking our resume to stand out from the rest. While, there are people who bombard their resume with every single task they have ever performed there are others who find unusual ways of getting noticed and hopefully hired.
Driven by the same concept of standing out, a fresh graduate Dawayne Kirkland applied for an internship to his dream company. Interestingly, instead of sending a simple resume he rapped out his achievements in a video. Inspired by rapper Kendrick Lamar’s track DNA, in the video Kirkland is heard boasting about multiple internships he has done and why he will be an asset to the company. He is also added little details about himself informing the company that he is willing to shift if offered a job. The video went viral after it was uploaded on YouTube. With over million views, people from all across are cheering for Kirkland and hoping that he gets the internship.
