Washington-based digital content creator Ricky Pond has taken the internet by storm as he grooves to the Marathi album song ‘Gulabi Sadi’ by Sanju Rathod and G-Spark.
The video, which was uploaded on Instagram, features Pond in casual jeans and shirt grooving to the upbeat music with infectious enthusiasm. The choreography incorporates quirky moves adding a modern twist to the beloved song.
Within hours of being posted, the video garnered over 60,000 views and likes and netizens showered him with praise for the energetic performance.

Ricky Pond began creating TikTok videos with his wife Roxane and their four children for fun. Their initial videos garnered a modest response, prompting Ricky to explore dance choreographies from various cultures, leading him to discover Bollywood. Following the ban of TikTok in India, Ricky shifted to Instagram, where his dance clips, ranging from Bollywood hits to Bhojpuri favourites, quickly went viral. Collaborations with celebrities like Madhuri Dixit and Maniesh Paul further boosted his popularity.
