It is always a cherished memory when one wins any award in school. However, a young boy who bagged multiple awards could not attend the award ceremony after getting hospitalised due to a bad asthma attack.

Then a thoughtful teacher decided to make his day special by venturing to the hospital and presenting the awards to him. A heart-warming video featuring the same is doing the rounds on social media.


The clip shared by Good News Movement on Twitter shows the teacher standing next to the young boy’s hospital bed. One after the other, she is seen taking out the medals and certificates. She is seen affectionately speaking to the boy and he is seen watching her present the awards from the hospital bed.

“This young boy was hospitalized because of a bad asthma attack and was upset that he missed the award ceremony at school. So his wonderful teacher made a special trip to present him with his awards. AMAZING!!” Good News Movement tweeted.

Since being shared on Wednesday, the clip has amassed more than 9,000 views on Twitter. The clip melted hearts online and the teacher earned praise on social media.
