The makers of Devara: Part 1 dropped its romantic ballad Chuttamalle much before the film hit the silver screen. Starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, the song captures the chemistry between the stars, and the hook step is a hit among social media users, with many sharing their versions of it. Chuttamalle has been sung by Shilpa Rao and composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
A Swedish couple, Karl Svanberg and Home Svanberg, recently recreated the song, winning plaudits and a reaction from Rao. Dressed in casual outfits, the couple efficiently matched the hook step of the song at a beach, impressing viewers with their spot-on lip-sync to the Telugu track.

With nearly nine million views, the video garnered numerous reactions as users hailed the couple for their lip-sync. Many users invited them to India. “Nice one,” singer Shilpa Rao commented. A user wrote, “You both killed it bro. Next part hero and heroine.” Another user commented, “Come to india brother let’s dance together.”
“The lipsync you have tried is amazing,” a third user wrote. “She look like rashmika and bro look like smith,” another user commented.
Recently, Alia Bhatt impressed her fans with a rendition of Chuttamalle. During a special interview with Karan Johar and Jr NTR, Bhatt sang the Telugu track, leaving Jr NTR pleasantly surprised by her pronunciation.
The film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in Telugu cinema. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 also stars Saif Ali Khan, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain in supporting roles.
