British singer, songwriter and musician James Blunt is known for his sense of humour. The 49-year-old often shares hilarious posts on social media that strike a chord with netizens.
When Blunt recently travelled on the tube, the London Underground, a man standing behind him photobombed his selfie. “My first time on the tube in 20+ years. Dude behind me is worried that I think he’s beautiful,” he wrote.
Blunt’s post was in response to journalist Piers Morgan, who had posted a photo of his travelling on the underground railway system, for the first time in more than 30 years. Morgan had an expression of annoyance on his face as he travelled in the packed coach.
“On my way to the @OfficialNTAs – my first time on the tube for 30+ years. Hasn’t got any cooler has it…” he wrote.
“I love James Blunt tweets,” an X user commented. “It’s true,” said another, referring to the singer’s iconic hit “You’re Beautiful”. “You’re beautiful was my callertune for so many years. people would get angry if i picked the call too soon,” another user said. “What if he was listening to James blunt while looking at James blunt,” wrote another.
Blunt was a former reconnaissance officer in the Life Guards regiment of the British Army and served under NATO during the 1999 Kosovo War.
