Ricky Pond, a content creator from the US popularly known as “Dancing Dad”, has posted a video showing him dancing to the song “Lutt Putt Gaya” from Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film Dunki and the Bollywood superstar has reacted to it.
Pond’s expressions were on point as he aced the steps of the song, sung by Arijit Singh. “Lutt Putt Gaya. Dunkidrop2 release date is my birthday Dec 21st. Help me tag those that need to see this,” he wrote as the caption.
A father of four kids, the man from Washington often uploads on Instagram videos of him dancing to the latest Bollywood songs. He has more than 8.29 lakh followers on Instagram and 1.8 million on TikTok.
“Seems so happy……. Is this the spirit of music or any other reason of this happiness,” an Instagram user wrote. “Amazing, just awesome,” said another.
Shah Rukh Khan also reacted to the video after an account posted it on X, formerly Twitter. “Ricky Pond dances to #LuttPuttGaya from #Dunki #ShahRukhKhan,” wrote Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club.
The actor reposted the video and wrote, “So nice… ha ha!! Always look forward to his dance videos. Thank u my man!!”
“Amazing Dance,” an X user commented. “This guy always delivers!!” said another.
The Rajkumar Hirani directorial is set to release on December 21. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani. It is based on an illegal immigration technique named “donkey flight”.
