A wild video from China is taking over social media, showing a robot dog and a drone locked in a dramatic “battle of fireworks.”
The viral clip shows the hovering drone and the four-legged robotic dog, equipped with fireworks strapped to its back, firing at each other. The dog-like machine can also be moving swiftly to dodge the incoming blasts.
At one point, the drone circles aggressively, forcing the robot to reposition and defend itself. The scene feels straight out of a sci-fi movie, leaving viewers questioning whether this was a controlled experiment or an autonomous battle. According to the South China Morning Post, the drone appears to be a DJI T-series agricultural model, while the robotic dog seems to be from the Go series by Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics.

One user wrote, “I think in a real fight the drone has better chance of winning. It has more manoeuvre ability.” Another user said, “In this case, and IMO, the airborne drone is more susceptible to damage. The combat distance is too close. With the airborne drone much further away it could be a different story.”
