UK Olympics gold-medallist Tom Daley, who stole hearts and headlines knitting in the stands at the Tokyo Games, was at it again in Paris on Saturday. The diver, the flag-bearer for Great Britain, began crafting his latest masterpiece while cheering on his teammates at the women’s diving event in the Aquatics Centre. He also gave a behind-the-scenes look at the project on his Instagram page, @madewithlovebytomdaley.
The official Instagram handle of the Olympics shared the photo with the caption, “Knit happens 🧶It wouldn’t be an #Olympics without @tomdaley knitting-in-the-crowd cameo!”
Daley, reshared the post with the cheeky caption, “Comment section is wild, but I be knitting.” He also shared a series of snaps showing him meticulously crafting a sweater with ‘Paris’ across the front.
