YouTuber MrBeast recently unveiled a massive $14 million “city” he created for his upcoming game show, Beast Games. Posting pictures of the set on X, he shared, “We spent $14,000,000 building a city in a field for the contestants in Beast Games to live and compete in. December 19th is almost here.”

The post went viral with over 10 million views, and people took to the comments section to share their views.
One user wrote, “I am sorry but one 25 minute video is not a good way how to spend 14milions. You can do far better and more useful things with this amount of money,” to which the YouTuber replied, “Hmmm, it’s almost like this is a 10 episode Prime video show I made and not a 25 minute YouTube video lol.”

In a recent interview with fellow YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, MrBeast revealed that more than $100 million was spent on his latest show, which has already set 40 world records. The show, set to premiere on Amazon Prime, is being hailed as “the world’s largest live game show” and boasts the “biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming” — a massive $5 million.
The trailer teases that Beast Games is “the most insane competition show you’ve ever seen,” featuring 1,000 contestants battling it out for the grand prize aboard a gigantic pirate ship.
The show’s coverage has sparked controversy, with reports highlighting serious concerns. According to The New York Times, several contestants have shared troubling experiences, including not receiving enough food and enduring long waits — sometimes for hours or even days — to get necessary medication or hygiene supplies.
Additionally, some contestants reported injuries during challenges that required medical attention. In light of these issues, five contestants are preparing to file a class-action lawsuit against the YouTuber behind the show.
