What many people consider adventure sports, might be a daily task for someone else. A video showing this juxtaposition is now raking in likes on Instagram.
The undated video shows a man smoothly walking by the edge of a steep mountain, while being barefoot and without using any support. By the looks of it, it appears that the route is familiar to the man. This video, reportedly taken in Yemen, was posted online by a popular Instagram account @2xv10.
It has gathered over 1.9 lakh likes since it was posted on October 5. Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “He walks like he’s not in danger 😮”. Another Instagram user equated his walking style with that of a mountain goat and wrote, “He is not a human, he is a mountain goat.”
A third Instagram user wrote, “This is an example of the Yemeni man’s toughness, determination, and persistence. He lives in the mountains, in the deserts, in the seas, in the valleys, forests, and the seas. He is not afraid of anything.”
In September, a similar video, which showed two professional parkour athletes Harsh Maurya and Gurpreet Rawat casually walking on the steep concrete slabs that are built many feet over the ground on an old building, went viral. This thrilling video gathered over six lakh likes. In the comments, many people noted that the video spiked their anxiety.
