A 21-year-old man created a Twitter account just to show off his tortellini recipe to a girl he met on Tinder because the dating app prevented him from sending pictures to her directly.
Andrew Wang, the creator of the Twitter account named ‘Tortellinis for Tilly’, posted a series of tweets on how to make homemade tortellini pasta. The tweets were meant for a mysterious Tilly, a girl he met on Tinder.
Wang’s first tweet was to “establish rapport” with the dough and later “betray it” to slice it into halves. The last tweet was a selfie of Wang, and the last step which was: “Win her heart”.

The Twitter thread soon went viral after a woman identified herself as Tilly and explained the inspiration behind the thread.
While many were divided over the recipe, others appreciated the man’s efforts. Take a look at some of the comments:

Wang told Insider that Tilly had said she wanted to be an amateur chef and that’s when the idea struck him. Since Tinder doesn’t allow its users to share pictures, Wang said he started a Twitter account.
