Sader Issa, a Syrian student pursuing his dream of becoming a dentist, has shared online a story unlike any other. His father Jad lives with Down syndrome but has been a pillar of love, unwavering support and endless encouragement throughout Issa’s life.
Jad holds a respected position in his community, having earned recognition for his kind and selfless nature. He diligently works at a wheat factory, demonstrating the strength and resilience he instils in his son.
Issa’s pride in his father overflows. “I may have Down syndrome, but I raised this man. I did everything possible to help him become a doctor and serve others,” Issa quoted his father as telling others.
The story transcends the limitations of a genetic condition. Issa’s journey highlights the crucial role of family, the power of overcoming challenges and the beauty of personal growth.
