A passenger, who claimed on TikTok that her luggage was severely damaged after travelling on a Delta flight, received 13 new suitcases as compensation. Yes, you read that right!

Peyton Thompson, an Airbnb host, was left shocked when a delivery agent called her saying she has a bunch of packages, Fox News reported.

The traveling radiology technician from Florida documented the turn of events on TikTok. Now, curious netizens are asking her if they can borrow or buy bags from her, as per CNN. The clip shared by Now This on Twitter shows the packages stacked next to each other. Thompson’s damaged luggage is also seen with peacock print and broken wheels.

Netizens expressed their shock over the delivery of 13 bags. A user commented, “#Delta luggage problems, trying to get this woman to stop complaining about her luggage back-fired big time!” Another user wrote, “This is old SKOL. Like when I worked for an airline back in the ‘90s!”

“They were all like $200 to $400. I felt terrible,” Thompson added. “I did view other bags, so I don’t know if that somehow is why I got all of them, but I picked the one I wanted and I checked out and it was free and they emailed me a confirmation,” she was quoted as saying by Fox News.

“We got it all straight,” Thompson said. “Her [the representative’s] name was Pam and she was great. She said ‘Yes, it was a mistake. We’re so sorry for your inconveniences.'” The woman shipped the luggage back and hoped no one got terminated from their job.
