Guinness World Records shares throwback to world’s tallest ice cream cone

The tallest ice cream cone ever made measured a whopping 3.08 metres and was created by Hennig-Olsen Is AS and Trond L Wøien in Kristiansand, Norway, on July 26, 2015.

The tallest ice cream cone ever was a whopping 3.08 metres (10 ft and 1.26 inches) tall, achieved by Hennig-Olsen Is AS and Trond L Wøien in Kristiansand, Norway, on July 26, 2015. This massive cone included a 95.85 kg wafer, 60 kg of chocolate lining, 1,080 litres of ice cream, and 40 kg of jam.

After being measured in the factory freezer, it was airlifted by helicopter and distributed at the Tall Ships Race event in Kristiansand Harbour, reported the Guinness website.

Guinness also shared the jaw-dropping moment on Instagram with the caption, “Tallest ice cream cone 🍦 3.08 m (10 ft 1.26 in) by Hennig-Olsen Is AS and Trond L Wøie 🇳🇴.” The post has definitely shocked and delighted social media.

The video shows the entire process, from creation to the grand finale, where the giant cone was served to the public.
