Portugal vs France, Euro 2016 final: Twitter erupts after Portugal’s title win

Portugal beat France 1-0 in extra time of the Euro 2016 final at Stade de France to lift their first major trophy. A goal from Eder in the second half of extra time proved to be the difference maker in a game scarce of chances.

It also proved to be the first time Portugal have beaten France sine 1975 and first loss for Les Bleus at home in a major tournament at home.
