Narayan Sai,son of Asaram,had intimate physical relations with eight other girls,some of whom were his followers while other were workers at his ashrams,claimed the Surat police in their remand application before a local court in Surat on Wednesday.
Both Sai and Hanuman alias Kaushal Thakur were produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate J N Thakker after their six-day police custody ended on Wednesday in connection with a sexual assault case.
After the two-hour-long arguments,the court remanded both Sai and Hanuman to two more days in police custody till December 13.
The district government pleader – Nayan Sukhadwala – in his remand application alleged that Sai had physical relations with eight more girls,out of which some of them were working in different ashrams and others were his followers. He said that the police wanted to locate and seize five mobile phones,laptop and dongle that Sai was using while he was on the run.
Surat police is also trying to recover a video camera,while was allegedly used by Hanuman for making porn clippings,Sukhadwala told the court. There was also an instance when Hanuman,hearing the allegations began crying before the court.
In the middle of the Sukhadwalas arguments,Sai interrupted the proceedings and told the court that a laptop,dongle,iPad and video cameras were lying in the car when he was arrested by Delhi Police on December 3. Later,Sukhadwala submitted a Panchnama copy of Delhi Police to the Judge stating that no such items were seized by the Delhi Police.
