Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to liquidate Rs 3,150 cr arrears

The move is a part of thorough revamp of the EPFOs operations with a crucial meeting early next month to review the performance of its various divisions. Liquidating arrears,increasing focus on compliance,processing all pending exemption proposals and updation of members accounts are some of the key items on the agenda of the meeting that has been called by Central PF Commissioner KK Jalan.

The Central Provident Fund Commissioner has decided to have a comprehensive review of performance of the zones in all functional areas on September 6, according to an internal missive of the EPFO.
