PUNE, Sept 27: Rains over showeded the proceedings of MCA Senior Invitational League Brihans Premium Cup tournament, when three teams — Star Cricket Club, Vijay Cricket Club and PYC Hindu Gymkhana — won their respective matches on the basis of first innings lead, without the opponents getting a fair chance to fight.
However, equal number of draws were also the order of the day, as Poona Club, Deccan Gymkhana and Club of Maharashtra also had to contend to share point with their rivals.

Result: Pooan Club drew with Brihans XI.
PYC Hindu Gymkhana: (I Innings): 326 for 8 decl. bt Deodhar Trust: (Ist Innings): 195 (Anand Dalvi 63, Mahendra Gadbale 3/55, Hemant Kinikar 2/12) & (II Innings): 50 for 3.
Result: PYC won on I Innings.
Deccan Gymkhana: Innings): 263 for 8 drew with YMCA: 82 for 8 (Nilesh Nimhan 31, Parag Chitale 5/24, Sameer Inamdar 2/21).
Result: Deccan Gymkhana drew with YMCA.
CoM: 185 for 8 drew with Vilas Club: 34 for 5 (Anrudha Oak 3/18, Mandar Shalu 2/16).
Result: CoM drew with Vilas Club.
