AUGUST 1: Indian Airlines has announced a reduction in its fares from Sharjah to several Indian cities from Tuesday.
The new promotional fares were applicable for outbound travel between August 1 and September 30, K Shyam Sundar, Indian Airlines manager for UAE told the Gulf Today newspaper.
"In case of travel to Kozhikode and Kochi, the promotional fares would apply if the travel is undertaken between August 7 and September 30," he said adding that the fares were applicable only for the economy class.
The new tariff from Sharjah to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Tiruchirapalli, Coimbatore, Kozhikode and Kochi is Dh 1,100 (Rs 12,100 approx) one way and Dh 2,100 (Rs 23,100 approx) for a round trip.
Fares from Sharjah to Goa, Amritsar and New Delhi is Dh 1,100 one way and Dh 1,700 (Rs 18,700 approx) for a round trip. The fare from Sharjah to Ahmedabad is Dh 1,000 (11,000 approx) one way and Dh 1,600 (Rs 17,600 approx) for a round trip and Sharjah-Lucknow is Dh 1,200 one way and Dh 1,800 for a round trip.
