Chhavi Mittal, who regularly gives glimpses into her diet and fitness routine, believes in something similar. As such, she recently took to Instagram to share a healthy breakfast option with her followers. “Looking for a healthy breakfast option? If yes, then MANGO CHIA PUDDING has to be on your list!” she captioned the post.

“It’s very very simple and it’s very tasty,” she added, sharing that all you need to prepare this meal is coconut milk, chia seeds, and mango.

Chhavi wrote, “Packed with nutrient-rich mango, chia seeds, and coconut milk, it’s the perfect breakfast option if you have a busy schedule. Who doesn’t adore mangoes, after all?”

Ingredients

*Mango puree
*Coconut milk

Method

*Pour the coconut milk into a bowl.
*Add the chia seeds to the milk.
*Make the puree of mangoes and add it to the bowl.
*Mix everything well and enjoy.

According to Ankita Ghoshal Bisht, dietician in charge, Primus Super Speciality Hospital, consuming mango chia pudding for breakfast offers several benefits. “Firstly, mangoes are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, providing a boost to the immune system and promoting overall health. Chia seeds are packed with fibre, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids, which can aid digestion, promote satiety, and support heart health. Additionally, coconut milk adds creaminess and healthy fats, contributing to a satisfying and nourishing meal,” she said.

As such, the combination of these ingredients provides a nutritious and energy-boosting start to the day, promoting sustained feelings of fullness and providing essential nutrients for the body, Bisht said.

While mango chia pudding is generally considered a healthy breakfast option, there are some individuals who should exercise caution or avoid it altogether, the nutritionist noted. “People with allergies or sensitivities to mango, chia seeds, or coconut should refrain from consuming this dish. Additionally, individuals with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes or kidney problems, may need to monitor their intake of mango and chia seeds due to their natural sugar and fibre content. It’s always best to consult with a healthcare professional or nutritionist to determine if mango chia pudding is suitable for your specific dietary needs and health conditions,” she said.
