When on vacation, we often skip our workout routines. This laziness can take a toll on our health because when it comes to fitness, consistency is of key importance.
To encourage you to keep all your laziness at bay and be more active, celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala took to Instagram to share some workouts one can do while vacationing.
“It’s so easy to skip, right? But I’ve always reminded myself how good I feel after doing some movement. Here’s my easy no equipment and no gym needed workout created specially for you,” she captioned the post.
She started her session with simple jumps which she teamed with squats. In another snippet, the trainer was doing opposite side kicks. She touched her left elbow to her right knee and vice versa. Post that she did skaters which consist of lateral jumps. She then did pop squats wherein she stood with her feet apart in a squat position, while jumping after every squat. She then performed a standing scissors exercise as she moved her legs in the opposite direction.
Earlier she had suggested one other easy-to-do exercise that can be done anywhere. She demonstrated a reverse lunge and kick which, as the name explains, involves bending the leg at the knee, backward, and then using the same leg to kick the air.
After that, she showed some planks in which you can twist your body sideways while balancing the weight on the palms and toes. She demonstrated how to perform criss-cross jacks followed by crab kicks, in which you push your pelvis upwards along with the leg while balancing on the other leg and the arms.
