State BJP president Dilip Ghosh slammed the CM, saying that her government “has failed to act against those who chant anti-India slogans”.

Meanwhile, the Congress was also critical of the Chief Minister, saying that she should have not met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Odisha last week if her concern about the riots in Delhi was genuine. “Chief Minister went to Odisha to meet Amit Shah and now she is speaking against him. People understand all these games,” state Congress president Somen Mitra said.

The CPI(M) also slammed the TMC chief for meeting Shah. “Mamata was waiting for Amit Shah in Bhubaneswar. After seven days of riots in Delhi, she now realised that she should say something, otherwise, she will be not in a position to say anything,” CPM leader Sujan Chakraborty said.
