The Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple here has sought ISO 9001:2008 certification for the entire temple complex,according to Hindu Religious and Charitable endowment board officials.
They said the temple had a five point quality policy and had also undertaken a drive to ensure the quality management system is in compliance with the certification norms.
The audit would be conducted on February 23. A special five member team had been formed to monitor all outsourced work of the temple such as the environment at the kitchen and tank,they said,adding that cleaning would be undertaken on a regular basis.
