Mohanlal, who enjoyed back-to-back successes with Emupraan and Thudarum earlier this year, is now gearing up for the release of his Telugu period drama Vrusshabha. On Tuesday, he unveiled the film’s first-look poster on his X account.
He captioned the poster, “The Battles, The Emotions, The Roar. Vrusshabha Teaser drops on 18th September.”
The poster showcases Mohanlal in a fierce avatar, standing behind a trishul, with an intense look in his eyes. His armored attire confirms the film’s period setting. The film’s teaser will be unveiled on September 18.
Vrusshabha, directed by Nanda Kishore, known for films like Ranna and Pogaru, has been shot in both Telugu and Malayalam, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi and Kannada as well. The supporting cast includes Samarjit Lankesh, Shanaya Kapoor, Zahrah S. Khan, Srikanth, and Ragini Dwivedi.
The movie is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Connekkt Media, and AVS Studios. It is slated for release on October 16.
