Bigg Boss 19, day 3 highlights: Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 welcomed 16 contestants to the show as it premiered on Sunday, August 24, on JioCinema and Colors TV. Given that this year’s theme is ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’, right from the first day, the contestants have been making major decisions. On the second day, they had to evict one contestant, it was actress Farrhana Bhat, who was sent to the secret room. Day 3 in the Bigg Boss 19 house started on a dramatic note with fights over food, differences between the contestants, and a stressful nomination task.
As the two strong contenders in the game, Amaal and Gaurav don’t seem to be getting along. While Gaurav has not had too many issues with Amaal, the music composer seems to have formed a strong opinion about the Anupamaa actor. Influencing other contestants, Amaal announced how he finds Gaurav Khanna very loud and attention-seeking. He said, “Where is Gaurav? Mr. Loudy. He is loud, kind of like attention seeking, and he knows it. I don’t blame him because after was number one on TV for years. Due to Anupamaa, he has been number one for so long that now he has gotten used to it.”
After evicting Farrhana Bhat, the contestants once again gathered in the assembly room for the first nomination task. During the open nominations, the contestants were seen targeting Gaurav for his sly play. Tanya Mittal and Awez Darbar also accused Gaurav of trying to act bossy and run the house, while he hasn’t taken any house duties. Awez said, “Since he hasn’t taken up any house duty, I am nominating Gaurav bhai. I have seen that everyone is trying, even if they know something or not. But Gaurav is trying to escape from work, and nobody is questioning him.” After the nomination process, Neelam Giri, Tanya Mittal, Abhishek Bajaj, Gaurav Khanna, Zeishan Quadri, Pranit More, and Natalia Satonszek got nominated.
After the nomination task, while Tanya Mittal is seen crying over getting nominated by her good friends, Pranit and Mridul Twari, Gaurav is seen upset with Awez. He confronts the social media influencer and asks if Awez though Gaurav is a worse player than Natalia, too. Gaurav talks to Awez and says, “Who was your name before me?” He names Natalia. Then Gaurav adds, “You think Natalia is more involved than me in the game? Who do you nominate? It’s basic to name those who are not involved in the game. You kept that name above mine just because you didn’t understand my duties. By taking my name inside, you proved that, in your opinion, I am playing sly. You said it indirectly. How do you want me to understand this when someone is trying to confuse you?”
Gaurav also pointed out how Awez got manipulated by Tanya and added, “I have no problem getting nominated, it means I am a strong contender who everybody wants to throw out. But I won’t go anywhere, because I also know how to play this game.”
Following this discussion, Awez had an emotional breakdown while he spoke to Nagma. Amaal and Kunickaa were seen consoling Awez, while Nagma advised him not to get affected and to expect this every week. She also told him not to give so many explanations.
Tonight, the housemates will be seen competing for the first captaincy task in the house.
