Days after Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), Kerala Film Producers’ Association (KFPA) and Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) said that they will not cooperate with Malayalam actors Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi, the former has now approached AMMA. As per Mathrubhumi, Shane has denied the allegations made against him.

The actor said that he was cast in the film RDX after the director told him that he was the lead character. After the shoot, Shane had his doubts so he demanded to see the edit of the film as he had reason to believe that he was one of the three characters in the film, and not the lead as the director had promised.

He also addressed the allegation that he asked for more money and said that because of the extended schedule, he had to return the advance payment of another film.

Sreenath Bhasi, meanwhile, has applied for the membership of AMMA but this will only be accepted after executive approval. Bhasi applied for the membership after it was announced that AMMA membership registration number must be included in all contracts.
