Animal star Triptii Dimri celebrated Holi in full fervour with her rumoured boyfriend Sam Merchant in Mumbai on Monday. The actress was seen covered in gulal at the Holi bash that took place at a posh hotel in Juhu. Other Bollywood celebrities spotted at this Holi bash were Sobhita Dhulipala, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Jaideep Ahlawat, k-pop sensation Aoora, Urvashi Rautela, Palak Tiwari and Alaya F, among others.
Triptii was seen posing with her friends as they played Holi together. The actress was seen covered in the colours of red and pink at the Holi bash. Triptii has always been tight-lipped about her personal life. While neither she or Sam have spoken about their relationship, the two of them are spotted together often.
Sam Merchant is a model-turned-businessman who won the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in 2002. Later, he became a hotelier and owns several beach clubs and hotels in Goa.He also enjoys immense popularity on social media and boasts of close to 250k followers on Instagram.
Triptii was also seen having fun playing Holi with water gun. She posed for several pictures where she is almost unrecognisable as she is covered in colour. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra was also seen playing Holi with Triptii and her friends.
Triptii mader her acting debut with Poster Boys in 2017 and shot to fame in 2018 when she starred in Laila Majnu along with Avinash Tiwari. The actress received critical praise for her performance in Sajid Ali’s directorial. However her digital projects — Anvita Dutt’s period films Bulbbul (2020) and Qala (2022) — brought her on the map and her performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, along with Ranbir Kapoor, turned her into a “national crush”.
Triptii will next be seen sharing the screen space with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She’ll also be seen in Anand Tiwari’s Bad Newzz with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk and Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao.
