Actor Sunny Deol exuded sheer happiness as he danced his heart out during his son, Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya’s wedding ceremony. The couple tied the knot on June 18 in Mumbai. In his recent appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his upcoming film Gadar 2, Sunny revealed how Karan introduced Drisha to him.
During a conversation with the show’s host, Kapil Sharma, Sunny shared that Karan introduced Drisha to him through his mother, Pooja Deol. He said, “He introduced me to Drisha through his mother but I was extremely happy. We didn’t have a daughter in our family and so when she came, I was overjoyed and I welcomed her.”
Sunny also talked about his bond with Karan and playfully shared that being a little scared of one’s father is a Deol family trait. He said, “I think this runs in our family, Dad was scared of Bauji, I am scared of Dad and then Karan. Being scared is just that I had done so much mischief that I feel Dad must have come to know about something from that lot.”
Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya got married at Taj Lands End in Mumbai in the presence of family members and close friends. Following the wedding ceremony, the Deol family hosted a lavish wedding reception for their industry friends.
Karan made his Bollywood debut with the 2019 film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. It was written and directed by his father Sunny Deol. He will be seen next in Apne 2, alongside his grandfather Dharmendra, father Sunny and uncle Bobby Deol.
