Radhika Merchant, wife of Anant Ambani, celebrated her 29th birthday with who’s who of Bollywood on October 16. Her husband, Anant Ambani, hosted an extravagant party in Mumbai, drawing Bollywood A-listers, cricket legends and influential personalities.
Radhika, a talented classical dancer and businesswoman, tied the knot with Anant on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre. Her birthday bash was attended by Shah Rukh Khan’s children Suhana Khan and Aryan Khan, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and MS Dhoni, among others.
Social media sensation and friends with all the Bollywood stars, Orry (Orhan Awatramani) shared some inside photos and videos from the event, showcasing the star-studded gathering.
The images show Orry mingling with Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday and other celebrities. Additionally, Orry posted a sweet video of Radhika’s cake-cutting ceremony, where she is seen lovingly slicing the cake and feeding it first to her husband Anant Ambani and then father-in-law Mukesh Ambani.
Highlights from the party included Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan dancing together, Janhvi Kapoor mingling with guests and Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor sharing hearty laughs.
The birthday girl wore a satin pearl white top with a red skirt for her birthday party. She was seen smiling away for pictures with her friends.
Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, the Rohit Shetty directorial, Singham Again, took some time off film promotions to attend Radhika’s party.
Ananya Panday, basking in the success of her latest film CTRL, was all smiles as she posed with Orry for a picture.
Suhana Khan, who is prepping for her upcoming film, the Sujoy Ghosh directorial, King, which will also star Shah Rukh Khan, wore a black and white polka dots retro dress for the party.
Cricket legend MS Dhoni was a part of the celebrations as well.
Tamil filmmaker Atlee, who made his pan-India debut with SRK’s Jawan last year, was also at Radhika’s party.
New father, actor Ranveer Singh was at the party as well. Deepika Padukone gave the party a miss as she has not yet made a public appearance after welcoming their baby girl, earlier this month.
Janhvi Kapoor and Radhika Merchant are best friends as they were classmates in school. The actress chose an electric blue dress for her friend’s birthday bash.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was the talk of the town earlier this year. The Jio World Convention Centre ceremony was a stunning affair, featuring dazzling decor, thrilling performances and VIP guests from all over the world. Typical of the Ambani family, the event seamlessly blended glamour and warmth.
