Farah Khan and her longtime cook Dilip recently paid a visit to Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, at her beautiful home in Delhi. As always, Dilip stole the spotlight with his quirky antics, leaving Riddhima in full fangirl mode. From the moment they stepped into the house, the vibe was light-hearted and full of laughter.

Taken aback by the grandeur of Riddhima’s home, Farah jokingly quipped, “I don’t know about you, Dilip, but I might get employed here.” Without missing a beat, Dilip replied, “Then who will employ me?” Farah shot back with a laugh, “To afford you now, I will have to take up extra jobs—jis hisaab se tu pagaar badha raha hai (with the way you’re increasing your salary)!”

While walking through the garden, Dilip noticed a decorative water vessel filled with lotus flowers. Excitedly, he exclaimed, “Ma’am, look! There’s a bathtub here. Should I take a bath?” A horrified Farah responded, “If you take a bath here, the police will arrest you for indecent exposure!”

As they entered the house, Riddhima welcomed them with traditional garlands and a warm embrace. Running up to Farah first, she placed the garland around her neck, then did the same for Dilip. “Welcome to Delhi,” she said with a smile. Impressed by the filmy welcome, Farah introduced Dilip to Riddhima, adding with a laugh, “You might think I have known her forever, but we are actually meeting for the first time.” Riddhima confirmed with a chuckle, “Yes, that’s true!”

“I actually wanted to organise an entire orchestra for your welcome,” Riddhima confessed, “but at the last minute, this is all I could manage.”

Riddhima soon whisked Farah off for a house tour, while Dilip headed to the kitchen. Midway through their conversation, Riddhima paused and asked, “Dilip ji kaha gaye? (Where did Dilip go?)” A slightly alarmed Farah replied, “Dilip ji kitchen mein gaye hai (He’s gone to the kitchen).”

Later, Riddhima’s manager shared, “The moment she heard Dilip was coming, Riddhima went, ‘Oh my God! I’m going to meet THE Dilip!’” With her trademark deadpan humour, Farah added, “I’ will have to do something about Dilip. Wherever I go, people only want to meet him!”

In the kitchen, Riddhima asked Dilip, “Have you been to Delhi before, or is this your first time?” “No, I have been here before,” Dilip replied. Curious, Riddhima asked, “How did you like it?” “Too good,” he said. She smiled and requested him to stay longer. But ever loyal, Dilip responded, “No, I will go wherever Farah ma’am goes.”

Dilip then cheekily suggested, “You make her stay back, and I will stay too.” Laughing, Riddhima said, “I will do that! But can you also stay back? You’re very sweet.”

The trio then headed to the kitchen to make beetroot kebabs. However, Riddhima’s cook, Sandeep, couldn’t help but interject. “Please make it smaller, the kebab looks huge,” he said to Dilip. Riddhima, surprised, said, “Sandeep, that’s alright… why are you snapping at him?” Farah chimed in, “Rivalry chal rahi hai yahan—Tiger vs Pathaan!”

As Sandeep continued to give unsolicited advice, Farah joked, “Sandeep, let’s do one thing. You do it all, and we will just stand to the side.” She added with a wink, “Too many cooks spoil the beetroot kebab.”

Dilip, ever the helper, offered to assist, but Riddhima protested, “You’re our guest—just sit, watch, and eat.” She then handed him some raita to taste. “How is it?” she asked. Dilip replied, “Namak thoda kam hai (Needs a bit more salt).”

Farah couldn’t resist: “She made Dilip taste it first!” she said, mock-jealous. Riddhima laughed and said, “Dilip is my new favourite.”

Later, they got on a call with Neetu Kapoor, who remarked, “Dilip is very famous.” Farah, ever the humorist, added, “Sure, go ahead and hype him more. He’s already demanding a higher salary after all this!”

When it came time to exchange gifts, Farah presented Riddhima with several thoughtful items, including a Nexus water purifier featuring actor Ronit Roy on the box. Pointing to it, Farah teased, “Dilip is soon going to replace Ronit Roy on this box!” Riddhima, visibly impressed, exclaimed, “Wow, that’s nice!”

As the visit wrapped up, Riddhima gave Dilip a parting gift and made a special request: “Please bring me some makhana (fox nuts) from Bihar” as it is his home town.
